My first attemts of making a pictures with fire,
were made with simple cheap and very uncomfortable tool like that one.
It's very long with long burning end, wich makes it feel like drawing with pen holded by its very end.
Not really comfortable, plus it's heating up very slowly as well as slowly cooling down, and- braking often.
It also has very low and small range of temperatures wich makes it perfect for getting some practice,
but after a while, you need to move on...
After 2 years I decided to invest in something of better quality and comfort.
An intensive research led me to this Pebaro burner which has very -deserved- good reputation.
The pen is 2x smaller than my first tool. The burning end is nice and small so it's much more comfortable to draw.
It is connected to acumulator which regulates wide range of temperatures-
different kind of wood as well as different kind of pictures, needs different range of temperatures...
... so this is a favourite tool of Europeans...
